Brandon Mancheno Smashes Course-Record at U.S. Junior Amateur

TGANF's Brandon Mancheno took the first-round lead at the U.S. Junior Amateur while crushing the course record at the Flint Hills National Golf Cub in Andover, Kansas. He shot 8-under-par 63 to take a two-shot lead. Mancheno's play included of one Eagle and seven BIrdies.
“I was not trying to shoot that [score], I was just trying to shoot even par and be happy with that, but I got off to a pretty good start,” Mancheno told usga.org.
Brandon will resume his play with a tee off time of 1:47 p.m. CDT today. The tournament will continue through Saturday, July 22, 2017. We will keep you updated on his progress.
